Our take on the Stone by Mercer Project Atik Stoneware Dinnerware Set

The Atik is a 4-piece stoneware set from Stone by Mercer Project, a service for 4 in a sage-grey glaze. Stoneware is heavier and more chip-resistant than porcelain, so it suits daily use. The set is small: it covers four place settings, not a full cabinet. Its best new price is $107.99 at Target as of November 4, 2026, with 5 stores selling it new.

Questions and answers

Is the Atik set worth $107.99?
At $107.99 at Target as of November 4, 2026, you pay about $27 per place setting for stoneware. That is fair for the material, but compare against larger sets if you need more than four settings.
Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?
Stoneware of this type is generally dishwasher and microwave safe. Check the care label on arrival, since glazed finishes vary.
How many people does it serve?
Four. The set is a service for 4 with 4 pieces, so it covers one small household and runs short for dinner parties.
How does stoneware compare with porcelain?

What is in the box?
Four pieces, one per place setting. It is not a full starter set with mugs or serving pieces.
When is it cheapest?
Dinnerware discounts cluster around Black Friday and post-holiday sales. Track the price history here rather than buying at full price.
