Questions and answers

Is the Superior Alaska Diamond Fleece Blanket worth it?
At $15.99 at Kohl's as of November 5, 2026, it is one of the cheapest weighted blankets you can buy. Expect a warm, plush blanket rather than a precision sleep aid, since the weight is not specified.
How heavy is it?
The listing does not state a weight, and weighted blankets usually run 10 to 20 pounds. Check the packaging or ask the store before buying if weight matters to you.
Is it good for hot sleepers?
No. The fleece and faux fur surface holds heat, so it suits cold rooms and winter use better than warm bedrooms.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes, it is machine washable. Use a large-capacity machine and low heat so the fill stays evenly spread.
What sizes does it come in?
Twin, Full and King. Twin suits a single bed or a couch throw; Full and King fit standard mattresses.
When is it cheapest?
Weighted blankets and fleece bedding drop sharply during Black Friday and January white sales. The current $15.99 at Kohl's is already low, so compare before waiting.
Where is the Superior Alaska Diamond Fleece Blanket cheapest?
At Kohl's, for $15.99, 57% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
