Questions and answers

Is the Superior XF 9.6 RC good for racing?
Yes. It is a cross-country race bike with 110 mm full suspension and a 12-speed Shimano drivetrain. That setup suits XC courses and marathon events more than steep, technical descents.
What frame sizes does it come in?
It is offered in S, M, L and XL. Pick your size from Superior's geometry chart, since reach and standover change across the range.
Is it electric?
No. It has no motor or battery and is a pedal-only mountain bike.
How much suspension travel does it have?
110 mm front and rear. That is typical XC travel: efficient on climbs and smooth trails, but limited on big drops and rough downhill sections.
What drivetrain does it use?
A 12-speed Shimano derailleur setup. That gives a wide gear range for steep climbs and fast fire-road sections.
When is the best time to buy it?
Watch the price history on this page. Previous-model-year bikes often drop when a new season launches, so compare the current price against its recent low before buying.
