Questions and answers

At $26.99 for 32 pieces, it is about 84 cents per piece, which is cheap for a full service for 8. It makes sense if durability matters more than a ceramic feel.
Is it microwave-safe?
Most wheat straw composite dishes are not recommended for microwave use. Confirm on the packaging before heating food in them.
How does it compare with melamine?
Both are lightweight and shatter-resistant. Wheat straw composite is marketed as a more eco-friendly material, but melamine is usually stiffer and more scratch-resistant.

Wheat straw dinnerware is typically dishwasher-safe on the top rack. Hand washing helps keep the matte finish and color intact longer.

Eight dinner plates, eight dessert plates, eight bowls and eight cups, for 32 pieces total.
When is it cheapest?
The $26.99 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026 is the lowest of the three stores listing it new. Watch for back-to-school and holiday sales, when dinnerware sets usually drop.
