Can the glass containers go in the oven?

Yes, the glass bases are oven safe up to 400°F. Do not use them under the broiler, and keep the lids off in the oven.

Are the lids microwave safe?

No. The glass bases are microwave safe, but the lids are not. Remove the lid before reheating.

Can these containers go in the freezer?

Yes, the glass is freezer safe. Leave some headroom for food to expand, and let the container thaw before reheating.

How should I wash the lids?

The lids are dishwasher safe, but the top rack is recommended. Hand washing extends lid life and protects the snap closures.

Is this set worth it over plastic containers?

If you reheat in the oven or microwave and want no plastic contact with food, the glass set earns its price. If you need light, cheap containers for the pantry, plastic is easier.

What sizes are in the 10-piece set?

The set has 10 pieces total, mixing containers and lids in several sizes for leftovers and portioned snacks. Check the listing for the exact size breakdown before buying.
