Questions and answers

Is the CoolNest good for hot sleepers?: The gel foam and cooling cover help compared with basic memory foam, but it is not a true active-cooling mattress. Very hot sleepers may still prefer a hybrid with coils and airflow.
How firm is the 12-inch CoolNest?: It is a medium feel: soft enough for side sleepers, supportive enough for most back sleepers. Stomach sleepers and fans of firm beds will likely find it too soft.
Does it need a box spring?: No. It works on a platform bed, slatted frame or adjustable base. A solid or slatted foundation with good airflow is best.
How long does it take to expand?: Most of the expansion happens within 24 to 48 hours. A slight foam smell can linger for a few days, so air the room out.
Is $299.19 a good price?: That is the best new price across 3 stores as of November 7, 2026, and it is low for a 12-inch gel memory foam queen. Check the size before buying, since larger sizes cost more.
What sizes and thicknesses are there?: Queen, King, Full and California King, in 12, 14 and 16 inch versions. The 12-inch is the medium option; thicker versions feel plusher.
Where is the Sweetnight CoolNest 12 Inch Mattress cheapest?: At Target, for $349.99, 49% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Sweetnight CoolNest 12 Inch Mattress?: Rated 4.3 out of 5 from 111 ratings.
Where can I buy the Sweetnight CoolNest 12 Inch Mattress?: 6 stores we checked sell it, including Lowe's, Target, SweetNight, Wayfair, eBay.
