Our take on the Takywep 81" Mid-Century Modern Chesterfield 3-Seater Leather Sofa

The Takywep is an 81-inch Chesterfield-style three-seater with button tufting and a mid-century silhouette, upholstered in brown PU leather over a real wood frame. Its selling point is the extra-deep seat, listed at 25.6 to 26 inches, which is deeper than most sofas at this size. PU leather is water- and wrinkle-resistant and wipes clean, but it is a synthetic, not genuine leather. At $407.13 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price we can compare against, so there is no recent range to judge it by.

Best forRenters or first-time buyers who want a leather look on a budgetLiving rooms where kids, pets or spills make easy cleaning a priorityTaller sitters who want a deep, lounge-style seatBuyers who want a classic tufted look without a custom-order wait
Pros
  • Deep 25.6–26 in seat suits lounging and taller users
  • PU leather wipes clean and resists water and wrinkles
  • Button-tufted Chesterfield styling at a low price
  • Real wood frame with non-slip feet
  • Ships with hardware and instructions for quick assembly
Cons
  • PU leather, not genuine leather; it can peel or crack over years
  • 81 in wide is snug for three adults on a daily basis
  • Tufted seats and backs trap crumbs and are harder to vacuum
  • Brown PU can look shinier and less natural than real hide
  • Only two stores list it new, so price competition is thin

Questions and answers

Is this sofa real leather?
No. It is upholstered in PU leather, a synthetic material. It resists water and wrinkles and cleans with a damp cloth, but it will not age or patina like genuine leather and can peel over time.
How deep is the seat, really?
The listing gives 25.6 to 26 inches, which is deeper than most three-seaters in this price range. That depth suits lounging, but shorter sitters may want a throw pillow behind them.
Will it fit three people?
It is 81 inches wide, so three average adults fit but with little elbow room. For everyday seating of three, measure your space and consider a wider model.
How hard is assembly?
The sofa ships with hardware and instructions and is described as quick to assemble, typically attaching legs and arms. Two people help when moving the boxed frame.
Is $407.13 a good price?
Only two stores list it new, and $407.13 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 is the lowest we have. With so few sellers, compare the other listing before buying.
How do I clean the PU leather?
Wipe with a damp cloth for spills and dust. Avoid harsh solvents and abrasive pads, which can dull or crack the synthetic finish.
Where is the Takywep 81" Mid-Century Modern Chesterfield 3-Seater Leather Sofa cheapest?
At Amazon, for $419.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Takywep 81" Mid-Century Modern Chesterfield 3-Seater Leather Sofa?
