Our take on the Tate Walnut Wood 48" Rectangular Storage Coffee Table

The Tate is a 48-inch rectangular coffee table in a warm walnut veneer over engineered wood and poplar, with an open base and one full-extension drawer for storage. It stands 17 inches tall and weighs about 45 pounds, so it suits a living room sofa without crowding the space. Levelers keep it steady on uneven floors. At $699.99 at crateandbarrel.com as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed and sits at the top of its recent range.
