Is the TCL Q6 a good TV for the price?

At $398 for 65 inches of QLED with local dimming, it is one of the better value picks in its class. It is not a match for Mini-LED sets, but it covers the basics well.

Does the TCL Q6 support Dolby Vision and HDR10+?

Yes. The Q6 supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG, so major streaming services will deliver HDR on it.

What is Titan OS, and does it have the apps I need?

Titan OS is TCL's own smart TV platform. It carries Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and most major apps, but the catalog is smaller than Google TV's.

What refresh rate does the TCL Q6 have?

The Q6 is a 60Hz panel with TCL's motion smoothing. It is fine for streaming and casual console play but not aimed at high-frame-rate gaming.

Should I buy the Q6 or step up to a TCL Mini-LED model?

Step up if you watch a lot of HDR content in a bright room or want deeper blacks; Mini-LED models cost noticeably more. The Q6 makes sense if $400 is the ceiling.

When is the TCL Q6 cheapest?

Large TVs like this tend to hit their lowest prices around Black Friday and during pre-Super Bowl sales. The current $398 at Sam's Club is already near the bottom of its range.

Our take on the TCL 65 Class Q6 Series QLED Smart TV

The TCL Q6 Series is a 65-inch 4K QLED smart TV from TCL's 2025 lineup, running the Titan OS platform. QLED quantum-dot color and full-array local dimming are the headline features at this price tier, and it supports HDR formats including Dolby Vision and HDR10+. At $398 at Sam's Club as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of what 65-inch QLED sets cost, making it one of the cheaper ways into quantum-dot color at this size.
