Is the RC10B7 worth it over the previous RC10B6?

For most racers, yes. The B7 moves to the laydown transmission and adds heavy-duty drivetrain parts, so it is the current platform with better parts support. If you already race a B6 and it is competitive locally, the upgrade is optional.

What do I need to complete the RC10B7?

You need a 2-channel radio and receiver, a 540-size motor, a 1/10 scale ESC, a 2S LiPo battery, a charger and tires. The kit includes the steering servo and body paint.

What battery does the RC10B7 use?

It runs on 2S LiPo packs at 7.4V to 7.6V. Battery and charger are not included.

Is the RC10B7 a kit or ready to run?

It is an unassembled kit. You build it, paint the body and install your own electronics.

How fast is the RC10B7?

Top speed depends on your motor and gearing, but the buggy is designed for over 60 km/h with a suitable brushless setup.

Kit prices tend to dip during holiday sales and when a new version is announced. As of November 4, 2026, the best new price is $399.99 at Peach Frog.
