Our take on the Tempo Move Pro Smart Home Gym with Adjustable Dumbbells

The Tempo Move Pro is a compact smart home gym built around a 165 lb set of adjustable dumbbells and plates, with a storage cabinet that doubles as the workout station. It pairs the weights with Tempo's app-driven coaching and form feedback, so it competes with mirror-style systems rather than plain dumbbell sets. The cabinet is small at 22 in tall and 13.5 in wide, which suits apartments and spare corners. The best new price is $1,008 at Tempo as of November 3, 2026, and it has held exactly that price since tracking began on October 31, 2026, so there is no discount to wait for right now.

Pros
  • 165 lbs of adjustable plates covers a wide strength range
  • Compact 22 x 13.5 in cabinet stores the weights out of sight
  • Smart coaching and rep tracking built in
  • HSA/FSA eligible, which softens the cost for some buyers
  • One system replaces a bench full of separate dumbbells
Cons
  • $1,008 is a steep entry price for the weight on offer
  • Requires a subscription for the coached classes and smart features
  • Adjustable plates are slower to change than fixed dumbbells
  • Only one store currently sells it new, so price competition is limited
  • Barbell work is limited without a rack or bench

Questions and answers

Is the Tempo Move Pro worth $1,008?
If you will use the coached classes several times a week and space is tight, the all-in-one setup can replace a dumbbell rack plus a subscription fitness app. If you mostly lift on your own, a plain adjustable dumbbell set costs far less.
How does it compare with the original Tempo Move?
The Move Pro centers on a 165 lb adjustable dumbbell and plate set with a compact cabinet, aimed at heavier strength work than the lighter original Move. Check the included weight total and class library, since those are the main differences.
Do I need a subscription to use it?
The weights work on their own, but the guided classes, form feedback and rep tracking run through Tempo's app, which requires a paid membership. Budget for that on top of the $1,008 hardware price.
How much space does it need?
The cabinet is 22 in tall and 13.5 in wide, so storage is small. You still need clear floor space around it for pressing, rows and lunges with the dumbbells extended.
Can I pay for it with an HSA or FSA?
Tempo lists the Move Pro as HSA/FSA eligible, so you may be able to pay with those funds. Confirm with your plan administrator before buying.
When is the best time to buy?
The price has been flat at $1,008 at Tempo since October 31, 2026, with no other new sellers listed. Watch for Black Friday and New Year sales, when fitness gear usually drops.
Where is the Tempo Move Pro Smart Home Gym with Adjustable Dumbbells cheapest?
At Tempo, for $1,008.00, 31% off, as of our latest check.
Is the Tempo Move Pro Smart Home Gym with Adjustable Dumbbells at its lowest price?
