Is the TEMPUR-Adapt Medium Hybrid worth it over the all-foam Adapt?

Choose the hybrid if you want more bounce and easier movement; choose the all-foam if you want the deepest TEMPUR sink. The hybrid costs more for the coil layer, so pick it only if the springier feel matters to you.

Does it work on an adjustable base?

Yes. Tempur-Pedic lists it as compatible with adjustable bases, and the 11-inch profile fits standard frames. Check your base's weight limit, since the queen is heavy.

How firm is the medium hybrid?

It sits in the middle: soft enough for side sleepers to get pressure relief, firm enough for back sleepers to feel supported. Stomach sleepers and heavier sleepers may want more support.

Tempur-Pedic discounts this line around major holidays and Memorial Day, often with free base or accessory bundles. Watch the price history rather than buying at list.

The mattress ships compressed or rolled depending on the retailer; it expands over a day or two. A foundation or adjustable base is sold separately.

Our take on the Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Adapt 1.0 Medium Hybrid Mattress, Queen 11"

The TEMPUR-Adapt Medium Hybrid is Tempur-Pedic's entry-level hybrid: an 11-inch queen with a layer of TEMPUR memory foam over a pocketed coil base. It is designed to feel softer and springier than the brand's all-foam beds while keeping the slow-conforming TEMPUR feel. It works on an adjustable base and suits couples who want pressure relief without sinking deep. Tempur-Pedic runs frequent promotions, so the price swings more than the mattress changes.
