Our take on the The App-Controlled Air Purifier

This is a white app-controlled HEPA air purifier rated for rooms up to 770 square feet, with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa support. Its CADR rating is 100, which is low for that coverage claim, so it suits bedrooms and small offices better than open living spaces. The best new price is $99.99 at JCPenney as of November 5, 2026, and only two stores list it new, so comparison shopping is quick.

Questions and answers

Is a CADR of 100 enough for 770 square feet?
No. A CADR of 100 is modest; most guides recommend a CADR close to the room's square footage for full cleaning. Treat the 770 sq ft figure as an upper limit for light use and expect best results in rooms under about 300 square feet.
Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?
Yes. It supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can change fan speed and power by voice. Full scheduling and filter alerts run through the app.
Is $99.99 a good price?
It is the best new price across the two stores listing it, at JCPenney as of November 5, 2026. With so few sellers, there is little room to undercut it, so watch for seasonal sales rather than expecting a steep drop.
What is in the box?
Expect the purifier with a HEPA filter installed and a power adapter. Setup is through the app, so you will need a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
How often does the filter need replacing?
Most HEPA filters in this class last six to twelve months depending on use and dust levels. The app should show filter life; check replacement price before buying.
Where is the The App-Controlled Air Purifier cheapest?
At JCPenney, for $99.99, as of our latest check.
