Our take on the The Everyday 5-Piece Place Setting

East Fork's Everyday set is a five-piece porcelain place setting for one: breakfast bowl, everyday bowl, side plate, dinner plate, and cake plate. It is made in Asheville, North Carolina, and finished with 24-karat gold accents along the inner and outer borders. The set is dishwasher safe but not microwave safe, unlike East Fork's Potter's set. The best new price is $82.50 at Dalmazio Design as of November 4, 2026, the low end of what the seven stores listing it charge.

Best forShoppers building a first set of everyday dishesBuyers who want shallow bowls rather than deep onesPeople who like gold-rimmed, glossy porcelainGift registries and wedding lists

Pros

Five pieces cover a full place setting for one
Shallow bowls suit salads, pasta, and grain dishes
Chip-resistant porcelain with a solid hand-feel

Dishwasher safe
Buying as a set saves about 10% over open stock

Cons

Not microwave safe because of the gold trim
One setting per box, so a family needs several
Gold accents can wear with heavy use
