Our take on the The Original Tarot Deck

The Da Brigh Original Tarot Deck is a 78-card tarot deck printed on 350gsm art paper with a linen finish, sized 4.75 x 2.75 inches, and sold with a booklet. It follows the Rider-Waite-Smith imagery associated with Pamela Colman Smith, so beginners can learn from the same pictures most tarot books reference. At $10.00 at MJ BoardGames Lebanon as of November 7, 2026, it is the lowest of the three new prices we track, a modest outlay for a full 78-card deck.

Best forBeginners learning Rider-Waite-Smith imagerySolo daily draws and reflectionBuyers wanting a linen-finish deck under $15Readers who prefer standard-size cards
Pros
  • Full 78-card deck, not a majors-only set
  • Linen finish gives a textured, non-slip feel
  • 350gsm card stock is sturdy for regular shuffling
  • Standard 4.75 x 2.75 in size fits common tarot spreads and cases
  • Includes a booklet for guidance
  • Imagery follows the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition most guides use
Cons
  • Booklet is thin compared with a full companion book
  • Linen texture can make some shuffling styles feel grippy
  • Art is a Rider-Waite-Smith alternative, not the classic deck itself
  • Adult age recommendation may not suit younger buyers
