This is a 10.6 oz cake of bulky-weight acrylic yarn from ThreadArt, wound as a single cake that shifts through an ombre gradient (the Flamingo Dance colorway runs into dark teal). Bulky acrylic is the practical choice for fast blankets, thick scarves and arm-knitting, and the cake format means fewer joins mid-project. At $18.59 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the two stores listing it, so there is no meaningful spread to chase.

Lowest price we've seen: $13.99 on Nov 4 at ThreadArt.com. Tracked across 3 stores since Nov 4.
Reception is thin and mixed: 3.9 out of 5 across 9 ratings. Buyers of ombre cakes like this generally praise the color transition and the speed of bulky knitting, and complain about knots, thickness changes and color repeats that don't match the photo.
