Our take on the Three Posts Oak Swivel Upholstered Counter Stool

The Three Posts Oak Swivel Counter Stool is a wood-framed stool with a 26-inch seat height and a swivel base, sized for standard 36-inch countertops. The oak finish and upholstered seat give it a warmer look than metal or plastic counter stools. At $192.99 at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against right now.

Questions and answers

Is this stool the right height for my counter?
The seat is 26 inches high, which suits standard 36-inch countertops. For a 42-inch bar-height table you would want a 30-inch seat instead.
Is it worth $192.99?
That is the only new price listed, at Wayfair as of November 4, 2026, so there is no cheaper new option to compare. The 4.7 rating from about 1,100 buyers suggests most owners think the build justifies it.
Does it swivel a full 360 degrees?
The listing confirms a swivel seat but does not state the rotation range. Most wood swivel stools of this type turn a full circle.
How many stools should I buy for an island?
Allow about 24 inches of counter width per stool. A typical 6-foot island fits two or three.
What is included with one order?
One stool is sold per order at the listed price. Check the listing for assembly hardware and tools before ordering a set.
Where is the Three Posts Oak Swivel Upholstered Counter Stool cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $192.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Three Posts Oak Swivel Upholstered Counter Stool?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 1,100 ratings.
