Our take on the gaomon Swivel Bar Stools Set of 2, 26 Inch Upholstered Counter Height Bar Stools with Back and Walnut Wood Legs

The Gaomon Swivel Bar Stools are a pair of 26-inch counter-height stools with upholstered seats, low backs and walnut-finish wood legs. Each seat swivels and is rated for 300 lb, so they suit kitchen islands and counters around 35 to 37 inches high. At $198.98 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, the set is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. That works out to about $99 per stool, which is mid-range for upholstered swivel stools with wood legs.

Questions and answers

Will these fit my kitchen island?
They are counter height, with a 26-inch seat. That suits counters about 35 to 37 inches high. For a 40 to 42 inch bar top, look for 29 to 30 inch stools instead.
Is the price good?
At $198.98 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, the set is about $99 per stool. Only one store lists a new price, so there is no recent low to beat. Compare against similar upholstered swivel pairs before buying.
How much weight do they hold?
Each stool is rated for 300 lb. That is a solid rating for residential counter stools.
Do the seats swivel a full turn?
Yes, the seats swivel. That makes it easier to slide in and out at an island without moving the whole stool.
What is in the box?
Two stools, one in each box or packed together, with the hardware and instructions for assembly. You will need basic tools and some time to put the legs on.
Are they bar height or counter height?
Counter height. The 26-inch seat is meant for standard 36-inch counters, not taller bar-height tables.
Where is the gaomon Swivel Bar Stools Set of 2, 26 Inch Upholstered Counter Height Bar Stools with Back and Walnut Wood Legs cheapest?
