Is the Toshiba M450 85-inch worth it?

Yes if size matters more than picture quality. It delivers a huge 4K QLED screen at a budget price, but a smaller premium set will look better in dark rooms.

Is 60 Hz a problem for gaming?

For casual console play, no. For fast shooters or a PS5 or Xbox Series X at high frame rates, a 120 Hz set is a better fit.

Does it need a soundbar?

Most owners will want one. The built-in speakers are fine for news but thin for movies, and Bluetooth lets you pair a soundbar wirelessly.

The TV, a stand, a remote and power cable. Check the listing for the exact remote and stand hardware included.

Large TVs like this tend to drop around Black Friday and during pre-Super Bowl sales. Its current price is already near its recent low.

Will an 85-inch TV fit my wall?

Measure first. An 85-inch set is roughly 74 inches wide and needs a wide wall or a large media console, plus a stud-mounted bracket for wall mounting.

Our take on the Toshiba M450 Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV 85-Inch

The Toshiba M450 Series is an 85-inch QLED 4K Fire TV with HDR, a 60 Hz panel and Amazon Alexa built in. It runs the Fire TV interface, so Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and Disney+ are on the home screen, and it supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Its draw is size and price: an 85-inch QLED for far less than most big-name 85-inch sets. The latest best price sits near the low end of its recent range, so it is a reasonable time to buy if you want a very large screen on a budget.
