Questions and answers

Is the Troy VTX kettlebell worth it?
It is a straightforward cast iron bell with a commercial-grade claim and a good grip. Whether it is worth it depends on the price you find against other 30 lb bells, since no current price was given.
What weight should I start with?
30 lb suits adults with some strength training behind them, especially for two-handed swings. Most beginners do better starting at 15 to 20 lb and adding this as a second bell.
Does the handle work for two-handed swings?
The rounded, textured handle is designed for a secure grip and easy hand switches. Grip diameter varies by weight, so check the 30 lb handle width if you have large hands.
Will the powder coat chip?
Powder coating holds up well on cast iron but can chip where the bell lands on hard floors. Use a mat or rubber flooring to protect both the bell and the floor.
What is in the box?
One 30 lb cast iron kettlebell. No stand, mat or other accessories are included.
