Turin Legato V2 Espresso Machine with Dual PID and 58mm Portafilter
The Turin Legato V2 is a compact home espresso machine built around a 550ml stainless steel brew boiler and a separate steam thermoblock. This hybrid design provides temperature-controlled brewing and quick access to steam without the footprint or price of a large E61 machine. A standard 58mm portafilter, adjustable OPV, dual PID settings and programmable pre-infusion make the V2 unusually flexible for its class.
Version 2 adds the controls buyers asked for: an externally adjustable OPV control screw, independent brew and steam temperature settings, and adjustable pre-infusion time and delay. Stainless steel, black and white finishes are offered as current inventory allows.

Turin Legato V2 Review: Hands-On Video, Strengths and Limits
Review source: Lance Hedrick’s hands-on review of a 120V Legato V2 supplied by Turin. He evaluates its controls, espresso, temperature response, steaming and internal construction. The observations below describe his reviewed sample, rather than a new test of every current production unit.
What he valued: adjustable pressure, PID temperature settings and programmable pre-infusion at the machine’s price point. He also demonstrates textured milk using the stock steam wand.
What he criticized: slower steaming and the exposed control board’s proximity to water fittings, which raised a long-term serviceability concern. His review does not establish a failure rate.
How he checked temperature: a thermocouple test basket, repeated runs and a 95°C setpoint. He distinguishes warming the test assembly from later runs and observes some readings above the setpoint. This is a demonstration of one machine under his conditions, not a guaranteed temperature tolerance.
