About the Turin DF54 v4.1 Single Dose Flat Burr Grinder
The Turin DF54 v4.1 gives home espresso drinkers the control to make small grind adjustments without dedicating a large section of the counter to a grinder. Its 54mm flat burrs and stepless adjustment suit a routine where you weigh fresh beans for each drink, grind the dose, and make the next cup with the coffee you choose.
It is a practical starting point for espresso, a compact second grinder for decaf, or a way to explore different coffees without emptying a hopper. Choose espresso burrs if you pull shots; choose brew burrs if filter coffee is your priority.
Ordering: Select your color and burr combination to see its price and availability. Options marked In Stock and Preorder have different fulfillment timing. Preorder estimates appear in the option names and can change; orders are charged when placed, and you may cancel a preorder before shipment. This listing is for 100–120V / 60Hz power. For a different electrical supply, see the 220V DF54 with EU plug .

Is the DF54 right for your coffee routine?
The DF54 is built around single dosing: you measure the beans for one brew instead of storing a bag in the grinder. That makes it useful when one person drinks regular coffee and another drinks decaf, or when you alternate between roasts. A scale helps you keep track of both the beans going in and the grounds coming out.
For home espresso: The stepless collar lets you adjust between marked positions. You can refine a shot without being limited to the next click on a stepped dial.
For a small coffee station: The body is approximately 4.5 inches wide. Leave room above it to add beans, remove the lid, and use the bellows.
For occasional filter brewing: Espresso burrs can also grind for pour-over, drip, AeroPress, and French press. A dedicated brew burr set is worth considering when filter is your main method.
Expect to weigh each dose and spend a little time dialing in new beans. If you want faster back-to-back grinding or a wider range of aftermarket burrs, compare the DF64 before choosing. The DF54 is home equipment, not a grinder for continuous café service.
Choose your DF54 burrs by how you brew
The selected burr set is installed in the grinder. Availability varies by color and burr combination; a choice shown in the selector may be sold out.
Stainless Steel Espresso: a straightforward starting choice
Choose these for espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes, especially if you also make an occasional filter brew. Their espresso-oriented cutting geometry supports the fine grinding needed to dial in shots. This is our starting recommendation when you want one DF54 for both espresso and everyday brewed coffee.
