Our take on the TUSHY Wave

The TUSHY Wave is a non-electric bidet seat that taps your toilet's water supply, so it needs no outlet or batteries. It has DuoFlow nozzles for front and rear wash, an EasyTurn knob for pressure, a soft-close lid, and a quick-release seat for cleaning. Its slim shape has no extended console, which suits small bathrooms. At $144.00 at Nordstrom as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range.

Questions and answers

Is the TUSHY Wave worth it over toilet paper?
If you want a bidet without wiring or an outlet, the Wave is a solid pick. It installs in about 10 minutes and gives front and rear wash. You give up warm water and a heated seat.
Does the TUSHY Wave need electricity?
No. It runs off your toilet's water supply, so there are no batteries, cords or outlets. That also means the water is unheated.
Will it fit my toilet?
TUSHY says it fits about 95% of toilets and offers round and elongated sizes. Measure your bowl length and shape before ordering, since fit is the most common complaint.
What's in the box?
The seat, base plate, tank adapter, flexible TUSHY hose, two mounting brackets and two mounting bolts. Supply lines and fittings are included, so you don't need extra parts for a standard install.
Does it have warm water or a heated seat?
No. The Wave is a single-temperature, non-electric model. For warm water, a heated seat or a dryer, you need a powered TUSHY model or another electric bidet seat.
When is the TUSHY Wave cheapest?
It was $144.00 at Nordstrom as of November 5, 2026, with six stores listing it new. Compare across stores around sales events like Black Friday, when bidet seats often drop.
