Is the Swash 1400 worth it over a basic bidet seat?

If you want warm water, a heated seat, a dryer and a remote, the 1400 covers all of them in one unit. A basic cold-water seat costs far less but skips those comforts.

Does it need a special toilet or plumbing?

No. It mounts on an existing elongated or round toilet and uses the included T-valve and hose. You do need a power outlet near the toilet.

How is it different from the Swash 1000 or 900?

The 1400 adds a wireless remote with two user presets, a nightlight and a carbon deodorizer. Lower Swash models use side controls and fewer features.

The seat, a wireless remote with magnetic dock, a chrome bidet hose and a 7/8-inch all-metal T-valve. Supply lines, fittings and hardware are included.
