Questions and answers

Is the Dexley good for long workdays?
For most people, yes: the mesh back keeps airflow moving and the height range fits standard desks. If you need deep cushioning or adjustable lumbar, a padded ergonomic chair may suit you better.
How tall should I be for this chair?
The seat adjusts from about 16.6 to 20.3 inches, which fits most average-height adults at a standard desk. Very tall users may want a chair with a higher back and seat.
Does it come with armrests?
Yes, it has fixed armrests. They are not height- or width-adjustable, which is a common complaint from owners.
Is $156.27 a good price?
That is the best new price across the two stores listing it, at BlueDogInk as of November 5, 2026. It sits in the normal range for this chair, so it is a fair buy rather than a deep discount.
What is in the box?
The chair ships unassembled with the seat, back, base, casters, gas lift and hardware. Assembly takes most people under an hour.
Is it good for a home office?
Yes. It is indoor-only, rolls on casters and meets ANSI/BIFMA standards, which makes it a reasonable budget pick for a home desk.
