Is the Untimaty mini chainsaw worth it?

For light pruning and shrubs at $29.89, yes. It is not a substitute for a full-size saw on large limbs.

How long do the batteries last?

Expect short runs of cutting per charge on 21V packs, with two batteries letting you swap and keep working. Thicker wood drains them faster.

What comes in the box?

The saw, two 21V batteries, two 6-inch chains, a charger, and a plastic carry case.

Can it cut large tree limbs?

No. The 6-inch bar suits branches roughly under 4 inches; larger limbs need a bigger saw.

Do I need to oil the chain?

It has an automatic oiler, but you still fill the oil reservoir and check it before each use.

The best new price seen is $29.89 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026. Mini chainsaws often drop around fall and holiday sales.
