Questions and answers

Is it worth buying?
If you want a small, good-looking warmer that also works as a night light in a bedroom or nursery, it fits that job. If you need strong scent across a large room, a higher-wattage or hot-plate warmer will do better.
How does it compare with hot-plate wax warmers?
Bulb warmers like this one heat more gently and give a warm glow, but they melt slower and need replacement bulbs. Hot-plate warmers melt faster and throw more scent but give no light.
What bulbs does it use?
It uses a 25 W bulb, which is the standard size for small bulb warmers. Check the bulb type before ordering replacements, and let the unit cool before changing it.
How big is it and how much wax does it hold?
It is about 4.3 inches wide and 3.8 inches tall and weighs 10.2 oz. The glass dish is small, so add one or two wax cubes at a time.
Can I use it as a night light?
Yes. The bulb gives a soft warm glow, which is why it is often listed for bedrooms and nurseries. It has only an on/off button, so there is no dimming.
When is it cheapest?
Wax warmers usually drop around Thanksgiving and Christmas, which are also the seasons this model is themed for. Watch the price history and set an alert rather than buying at full price.
