Questions and answers

Is the USG890SS worth it at $605?
At $605 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the 6 stores listing it. That is competitive for a stainless steel pellet grill with 890 sq in of cooking area and a PID controller.
How does it compare with a Traeger or Pit Boss?
It offers more total cooking area than many entry-level Traeger models at a similar or lower price. Traeger and Pit Boss have broader dealer support and app features, while this unit keeps controls simple with a PID and a wired meat probe.
How long does the 24 lb hopper last?
Expect roughly 12 to 20 hours of cooking at smoking temperatures, depending on outside temperature and settings. High-heat grilling burns pellets much faster.
Does it need electricity?
Yes. The pellet feed, fan, PID controller and searing station all run on electric power, so it needs a nearby outlet.
What is included in the box?
The grill ships with the stainless steel cooking grates, upper rack, meat probe and searing station. Pellets are not included.
When is it cheapest?
Pellet grills tend to drop around fall clearance and Black Friday. The current $605 at eBay is already at the bottom of its recent range, so waiting may not save much.
Where is the US Stove usg890ss Stainless Steel Wood Pellet Grill & Smoker cheapest?
At US Stove, for $629.99, 30% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the US Stove usg890ss Stainless Steel Wood Pellet Grill & Smoker?
9 stores we checked sell it, including US Stove, eBay, Walmart, Home Depot, Summit Forge Supply.
