Our take on the VacMaster VP215 Chamber Vacuum Sealer

The VacMaster VP215 is a countertop chamber vacuum sealer built for small restaurants, hunters and serious home cooks. Its 1/4 HP rotary oil pump pulls 29.7 inHg and seals chamber pouches up to 10 inches wide with a double seal, so it handles liquids, marinades and wet foods that suction-style sealers cannot. The stainless body measures 14 x 20 x 15 inches and runs a 20 to 40 second cycle from a digital panel. The best new price is $869.99 at Vacuum Sealers Unlimited as of November 4, 2026, with four stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is the VacMaster VP215 worth it over a home suction sealer?: If you seal liquids, marinades or sous vide bags often, yes. A chamber machine pulls vacuum around the whole bag, so liquids stay put. For dry foods only, a cheaper edge sealer does the job.
Can it seal liquids and soups?: Yes. Chamber vacuuming works on liquids and wet foods, which is the main reason buyers choose it. Leave headspace in the pouch and keep it below the seal bar.
What bags does it use?: It uses chamber pouches up to 10 inches wide, not textured roll bags. Buy smooth chamber bags in the sizes you use most.
How does it compare to the VP112?: The VP215 adds a stronger 1/4 HP oil pump and a larger chamber than the smaller VP112. Choose the VP215 if you seal larger batches or need deeper vacuum.
When is the price lowest?: The best new price seen is $869.99 at Vacuum Sealers Unlimited as of November 4, 2026. Compare across the four stores listing it before buying.
What is in the box?: The sealer itself with its digital control panel and pressure indicator. Bags are sold separately, so order chamber pouches with it.
Where is the VacMaster VP215 Chamber Vacuum Sealer cheapest?: At Vacuum Sealers Unlimited, for $869.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the VacMaster VP215 Chamber Vacuum Sealer?: Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 189 ratings.
Where can I buy the VacMaster VP215 Chamber Vacuum Sealer?: 13 stores we checked sell it, including Hantover, Vacuum Sealers Unlimited, hickmansbbq.com, eBay, ACityDiscount.
