Our take on the Veise Wifi Fingerprint Smart Lock Keyless Entry Deadbolt

The Veise WiFi Fingerprint Smart Lock is a keyless entry deadbolt with a built-in fingerprint reader and WiFi, so you can unlock by finger, app, code or key. It carries an ANSI Grade 3 rating, the entry-level residential security grade, and fits standard deadbolt doors with ambidextrous handing. At $59.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of what WiFi fingerprint deadbolts cost, and only one store currently prices it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Veise WiFi fingerprint lock worth it?
At $59.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to get fingerprint and WiFi entry in one deadbolt. Expect Grade 3 residential security and basic app features rather than premium build quality.
Does it need a hub or extra bridge for WiFi?
No. WiFi is built into the lock, so it connects to your home network directly and you control it from the app without a separate hub.
Will it fit my existing deadbolt door?
It is designed as a standard deadbolt replacement and is ambidextrous, so it works on left- and right-handed doors. Check your door's bore hole and backset against the install guide before buying.
How is it powered, and how long do batteries last?
It runs on batteries, and WiFi use draws more power than Bluetooth-only locks. Battery life depends on how often the lock connects to WiFi and how many unlocks happen per day.
How does it compare with Bluetooth-only smart locks?
You get remote access and app control without a bridge, which Bluetooth-only locks lack. The trade-off is higher battery drain and a higher price than basic keypad deadbolts.
When is the best time to buy it?
Smart locks usually drop during Black Friday and holiday sales. The current best new price is $59.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so watch for seasonal cuts.
Where is the Veise Wifi Fingerprint Smart Lock Keyless Entry Deadbolt cheapest?
At Walmart, for $59.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Veise Wifi Fingerprint Smart Lock Keyless Entry Deadbolt?
Rated 4.1 out of 5 from 8 ratings.
