How does the Tech Pac LT differ from the standard Tech Pac?

The LT is the open-top version, so you reach tools without unzipping. The standard Tech Pac closes with a zipper for more weather protection.

If you carry tools daily and want a bag that lasts years, the organization and build justify the price for many techs. For occasional DIY use, a cheaper backpack does the job.

How much weight can it carry?

Veto does not publish a load rating, but owners routinely load it with a full hand tool kit plus a meter and cordless drill. The padded straps are built for that load.

Does it fit a laptop?

The Tech Pac LT is tool-focused and has no dedicated padded laptop sleeve. A small tablet may fit in a rear pocket, but a laptop is a tight squeeze.

What are its dimensions and empty weight?

It measures 19 in tall, 14 in wide and 8.5 in deep, and weighs 7.4 lb empty.

Veto bags rarely discount deeply. Watch for holiday sales and contractor promotions at The Home Depot, where it was $304.95 as of November 8, 2026.

It is the lighter, open-top sibling of Veto's zippered Tech Pac line, aimed at service techs who want fast access to tools.
