Our take on the Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Blender

The Vitamix A3500 is the top of Vitamix's Ascent line: a 1,200–1,400W corded blender with a 64-ounce Tritan jar, a touchscreen with five program settings, and a 10-speed dial plus pulse. It pairs with the Vitamix Perfect Blend app over Bluetooth and uses self-detect technology to adjust settings for different Ascent containers. Its 10-year warranty is among the longest in the category. At $450 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it sits well below its typical new price of roughly $550–$630, so this is a strong moment to buy.

Questions and answers

Is the Vitamix A3500 worth it over the A2500?
The A3500 adds a touchscreen and five program presets; the A2500 uses a dial and has fewer programs. Both share the same motor class and 10-year warranty, so choose the A3500 if you want one-touch programs.
Is $450 a good price for the A3500?
Yes. It typically sells new around $550–$630, so $450 at eBay as of November 5, 2026 is a meaningful discount. Check that the listing is new and includes the 10-year warranty.
What comes in the box?
The motor base, a 64-ounce low-profile Tritan jar with lid and tamper. Extra Ascent containers and the food processor attachment are sold separately.
Does it fit under kitchen cabinets?
It is about 17 inches tall, so it fits under standard 18-inch upper cabinets but not lower ones. Measure your clearance before buying.
Can it make hot soup?
Yes. The soup program runs the blades long enough to heat soup from friction. Start with room-temperature ingredients and expect several minutes of blending.
Does it work with the Vitamix app?
Yes, over Bluetooth. The app adds timers and recipes, but the blender works fully without it.
Where is the Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Blender cheapest?
At eBay, for $315.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Blender?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 3,300 ratings.
Where can I buy the Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Blender?
5 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, Vitamix, Walmart, Dellco Commercial Kitchens, EuroLife Furniture.
