Is the E310 worth it over a cheaper blender?

If you blend frozen fruit, nuts or greens regularly, the 2 HP motor and 5-year warranty are the reason to pay more. Budget blenders tend to burn out under that load.

How does it compare with the Vitamix 5200?

Can it really make hot soup?

Yes. Running it at high speed for about 5 to 6 minutes generates enough friction heat to bring soup ingredients to serving temperature. It does not cook raw meat or beans.

What comes in the box?

The E310 motor base, a 1.4 L container with lid and lid plug, and a tamper for thick mixes. A getting-started guide is included.

Is the container dishwasher safe?

Yes, the container, lid and lid plug are dishwasher safe on the top rack. Wash the base by hand with a damp cloth only.
