Is an ALR screen worth it for a long-throw projector?

Yes if the room has steady ambient light, such as windows or lamps. In a fully dark room a white screen with higher gain will look brighter and cost less.

Does it work with a short-throw projector?

No. It is tuned for standard and long-throw projectors. Short-throw models need a different ALR material to avoid hot spots and uneven brightness.

How far should the projector be mounted?

It depends on your projector's throw ratio. For a 100-inch diagonal, most long-throw projectors need roughly 10 to 15 feet of distance; check your model's throw chart before buying.

The screen material, the fixed aluminum frame and bezel, and the mounting hardware. A projector and mount are not included.

Can it be mounted on drywall?

At 28 kg it should go into wall studs or masonry. Use heavy-duty anchors and have two people lift it into place.

When is the price lowest?

Fixed-frame ALR screens tend to dip during major sales events and at model changeovers. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
