Is the Silver Ticket 142-inch screen worth it?

For a dark dedicated room, yes. It delivers a large, flat image for far less than premium fixed screens. If your room has lots of daylight or you need a retractable screen, look elsewhere.

How big a wall does a 142-inch 16:9 screen need?

The image area is about 124 by 70 inches, and the frame adds a few inches on each side. Plan on a wall at least about 11 feet wide and 7 feet tall, with clearance for speakers below.

Will it work with my 4K HDR projector?

Yes. The matte white surface is neutral and does not limit resolution or HDR; the projector does. At 142 inches you need a projector with enough brightness, roughly 2,000 lumens or more in a dark room.

Does it come assembled?

No. The frame, screen material and tensioning hardware ship as a kit. Assembly and wall mounting typically take a few hours and are easier with two people.

White or gray screen material?

Choose white for a dark room and a projector with good black levels. Gray helps perceived contrast in rooms with some light but dims the image slightly.

When is the best time to buy?

Prices on Silver Ticket screens move around sales events and the holiday season. Check the price history on this page before buying rather than assuming the current price is the low.
