Our take on the Vortex Lava Lamp

The Vortex Lava Lamp is a 10.5-inch tabletop lamp with a black plastic base and cap and a plastic globe lit by three cool-white LEDs that shift color. It runs on AA batteries rather than a cord, and its silver glitter effect is a non-heat alternative to a classic lava lamp. At $15.99 at Surprise Castle as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its price range across the three stores that carry it new.
