Our take on the Washedton Gingham Linen Like Duvet Cover Set Oversized Full

The Washedton Gingham Linen-Like Duvet Cover Set is an oversized full-size bedding set in a forest green gingham check, styled for farmhouse, minimalist or modern rooms. The fabric is a linen-look weave rather than real linen, and the set is sold unfilled, so you supply the duvet insert. It is a lightweight, all-season layer at about 4 lb for the set. No current price was provided for this listing, so compare store prices before buying.

Best forShoppers who want a linen look without linen's price or wrinklingFarmhouse, cottage and minimalist bedrooms
Oversized full beds that need extra drape
All-season use with a medium-weight insert
Pros
  • Gingham check in forest green suits farmhouse and modern rooms
  • Linen-like texture gives a relaxed, less shiny look than cotton sateen
  • Oversized full cut gives more drop at the sides and foot
  • Lightweight set, about 4 lb, easy to layer
  • Unfilled design lets you pick the insert weight you want
Cons
  • Not real linen; the texture is a synthetic or cotton blend look-alike
  • Hand wash separately only, which is inconvenient for a large duvet cover
  • Thread count and GSM listed as 1, so no useful fabric weight spec
  • Insert not included, an extra cost
  • Gingham check is a strong pattern that limits styling

Questions and answers

Is this duvet cover real linen?
No. It is a linen-like fabric, a woven look-alike rather than flax linen. Expect a similar textured, matte finish but different breathability and wrinkle behavior.
Does it come with a duvet insert?
No. The set is unfilled, so you need to buy a full-size duvet insert separately. Choose a medium-weight insert for all-season use.
How should I wash it?
The care label says hand wash separately. That is unusual for a duvet cover and worth weighing before buying, since machine washing is not advised.
Will an oversized full cover fit a standard full duvet?
It will fit, but the extra fabric will hang looser and may bunch inside the cover. An oversized full insert fills it out better.
Is the forest green color true to the photos?
Gingham in deep green usually reads darker in low light. Ask the store for a fabric swatch or check customer photos before ordering.
When is the best time to buy?
Bedding sets like this tend to drop during seasonal home sales and clearance events. Compare the price across stores and check its price history before buying.
