Our take on the Way To Celebrate Animated DJ Jack with Turntable Halloween Outdoor Decor, 72 in

The Way To Celebrate Animated DJ Jack is a 72-inch plastic Halloween prop: a grinning jack-o'-lantern DJ behind a turntable, made by Pan Asian Creations for Walmart's Way To Celebrate line. It is an outdoor animatronic, so expect motion and sound triggered by passersby rather than a static figure. At 11 lb it is light enough for one person to move, but tall enough to read from the sidewalk. No current price was supplied, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.

Questions and answers

Is DJ Jack worth it?
If you want a tall, moving focal point for a yard display and can anchor it, it delivers a lot of presence for a plastic prop. Buyers who want years of service should weigh the lack of a written warranty.
Does it need batteries or an outlet?
Animated props of this type typically run on batteries or a low-voltage adapter, and the power source is usually sold separately. Confirm the requirement on the box before you plan placement.
How tall is it and how much does it weigh?
It stands 72 inches tall and weighs about 11 lb. One adult can carry it, but stake or weight the base on windy nights.
Can it stay outside in rain?
It is sold as outdoor decor, but plastic animatronics last longer under a porch roof or brought in during storms. Keep the motor and speaker areas dry.
When is it cheapest?
Halloween decor usually discounts in late October and clears out right after the holiday. Watch the price history for a drop rather than buying at full price in September.
