Is this ghost worth it compared with a name-brand animatronic?

If you want a tall moving prop on a tight budget, yes. Name-brand hanging ghosts cost several times more and add better sound and motion, so the gap is real but so is the price difference.

Does it need batteries, and how many?

It runs on batteries, which are not included, so buy them before Halloween. Expect to replace them if you leave the animation on for long evenings.

Can it be used outdoors?

It can hang on a covered porch or under an awning, but it is not waterproof. Keep it out of direct rain and secure it so wind does not swing it into walls.

How tall is it and how much space does it need?

The figure is 5 feet tall and hangs from a loop, so allow extra height above it for the hook or branch. It needs no floor space, which suits narrow porches.

You get the ghost figure with its hanging loop and the animated mechanism. Batteries and mounting hardware are not included.

Halloween props drop sharply right after October 31 and again in early September clearance. Buying in late October risks missing it, so watch the price in the first half of September.
