Our take on the Wefone L106 GPS Foldable Drone with 4K UHD Camera for Adults Beginners, Brushless Motor, Outdoor Fun, 2 Batteries, White

The Wefone L106 is a foldable GPS camera drone aimed at beginners, with a 4K UHD camera, brushless motors and two batteries that together give about 30 minutes of flight time. GPS adds position hold and an auto return-home function, which is the main safety feature for new pilots. Its stated control range is only about 0.1 mile, so it is a line-of-sight, backyard-and-field drone rather than a long-range one. At $79.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the only price recorded so far, so there is no cheaper history to wait for.

Questions and answers

Is the Wefone L106 worth it for a beginner?
Yes, if you want a cheap first GPS drone to learn on. Auto return home and position hold make it forgiving, but expect basic camera quality and a short control range.
Does it really shoot 4K?
It records 4K-resolution files, but budget drones in this class typically upscale lower-resolution sensors, so detail looks closer to 1080p. Treat 4K as a label, not a guarantee of sharp footage.
How long can it fly on the two batteries?
The listing states about 30 minutes total across both batteries, so roughly 15 minutes per battery in calm conditions. Real flights are usually shorter with wind or aggressive flying.
How far can it fly from the controller?
The stated operating distance is about 0.1 mile, roughly 160 meters. Keep it in sight and well inside that range, since GPS return only helps if the link holds.
What is in the box?
You get the drone, two batteries, a controller and the usual cables and spare parts. A phone or microSD card for recording is not included.
Is $79.99 a good price?
It is the only price recorded since November 2, 2026, so there is no lower reference point. At under $80 with GPS and two batteries, it is cheap for the category.
Where is the Wefone L106 GPS Foldable Drone with 4K UHD Camera for Adults Beginners, Brushless Motor, Outdoor Fun, 2 Batteries, White cheapest?
At Walmart, for $79.99, as of our latest check.
Is the Wefone L106 GPS Foldable Drone with 4K UHD Camera for Adults Beginners, Brushless Motor, Outdoor Fun, 2 Batteries, White at its lowest price?
Yes: $79.99 is the lowest price we've seen for it since November 2.
What do buyers say about the Wefone L106 GPS Foldable Drone with 4K UHD Camera for Adults Beginners, Brushless Motor, Outdoor Fun, 2 Batteries, White?
