Is the Haven sectional worth $7,197?

It is a large top-grain leather sectional at a premium price. If you want a 45-inch-deep lounge seat and removable covers, it competes with other leather sectionals in this range. If you need a smaller or cheaper sofa, it is more than you need.

How does it compare with a standard-depth sectional?

At 45 inches deep it sits about 5 to 10 inches deeper than typical sectionals, so it takes more floor space but feels more like a chaise. Measure your room for 106 x 106 inches before ordering.

Is the vegan leather version as durable as the top-grain?

Vegan leather is a polyurethane-coated material and generally wears differently from top-grain, which develops a patina. Vegan leather resists staining more easily but can peel over many years; top-grain can be conditioned and repaired.

What is included in the 3-piece set?

The sectional ships as three pieces that join into the L shape, with the legs packed separately for attachment. Cushion covers are zipped on and can be removed.

West Elm runs seasonal furniture sales, often around major holidays and clearance events. As of November 3, 2026, the best new price is $7,197 at West Elm, and no other store lists it new.

Our take on the West Elm Haven Leather Sectional

The Haven is West Elm's extra-deep L-shaped sectional, 106 inches on both sides, with a 45-inch depth and 18-inch seat height. It comes in genuine top-grain leather or animal-friendly vegan leather, with a solid pine and engineered wood frame, low padded arms and removable, unzippable cushion covers. The 3-piece build and removable 2-inch legs help it get through doorways and tight stairs. The best new price is $7,197 at West Elm as of November 3, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against.
