Pros

Cons
  • Open frame is loud compared with enclosed inverter models

Questions and answers

Is 10,500 running watts enough for my house?
It covers essentials like a furnace blower, refrigerator, lights, well pump and a few appliances, especially through a 50-amp transfer switch. Whole-home central air plus an electric range and dryer at once will exceed it.
How long does it run on a tank?
Up to 19 hours, and that figure depends on fuel type and load. Natural gas runs the longest without refueling because it comes from the line.
Does it come with a transfer switch?
No. It has a 50-amp transfer-switch-ready outlet, but the transfer switch and the cable to your panel are bought and installed separately.
Can I start it from inside the house?
Yes, it has remote and push-button electric start. Keep the generator outdoors and well away from windows and doors while it runs.
Is it safe to run near the house?
The CO sensor shuts the unit down when carbon monoxide rises, but it still belongs outdoors, clear of doors, windows and vents. Never run it in a garage or basement.
When is the price lowest?
The best new price is $1,028.97 at Wonderful Life Appliances as of November 4, 2026. Generator prices often drop ahead of storm season and around holiday sales, so check the price history before buying.
Where is the WL 13000 Peak Watt Tri-Fuel Home Backup Portable Generator cheapest?
At wonderful life appliances, for $1,028.97, as of our latest check.
