Is it worth it compared with a wooden playset?

For ages 3 to 8 on a budget, yes. A wooden set costs several times more and lasts longer, but this one covers glider, swing and slide at $159.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026.

How much space do I need?

The footprint is 128 by 91 inches, about 10.5 by 7.5 feet, plus clearance around the swings. Leave extra room in front of the slide.

What is the weight limit?

600 lb total and 100 lb per user. That suits most kids up to about age 8, but not teens or adults.

Does it need to be anchored?

Yes. The frame is light enough to move in strong wind, so stake or anchor the legs into the ground.

What comes in the box?

The metal frame, a two-seat Fun Glider with footrests, a trapeze swing, a wave slide with handrails, vinyl-coated chains and hardware. Tools are not included.

Swing sets usually drop in late summer and around Black Friday. Track the price history here; the current $159.99 at eBay is already near the low end.
