Is the YDP-146B worth it over a cheaper keyboard?

If you want weighted keys, three pedals, and a cabinet that stays in tune, yes. A basic 61-key keyboard costs far less but won't build piano technique the same way.

How does it compare with the YDP-144 or YDP-164?

The YDP-146B sits between them in features, adding Bluetooth and half-pedaling over the entry 144. The 164 steps up to a better GH3 action and stronger amplification if your budget allows.

Does it have Bluetooth for apps?

Yes, it supports Bluetooth audio and MIDI, so you can stream music through the speakers or connect to piano apps. Expect slight latency when playing through apps, so use a cable for critical recording.

You get the piano, the matching stand and three-pedal unit, a power adapter, and a bench in most bundles. Check the specific bundle, since some sellers ship without the bench.

Can I use headphones?

Yes, there are dual headphone jacks, which mute the speakers for silent practice. That makes it usable late at night in an apartment.

Our take on the Yamaha Arius YDP-146B 88-Key Weighted Digital Piano

The Yamaha Arius YDP-146B is a home digital piano with 88 Graded Hammer Standard weighted keys, matte black keytops, and Yamaha's CFX grand piano voice. It adds Bluetooth audio and MIDI, 192-note polyphony, VRM Lite resonance modeling, and a three-pedal unit with half-pedaling. The 8W per channel amp and 12cm speakers are modest for the cabinet size, so it suits a bedroom or small living room more than a large hall.
