Our take on the Zimtown 3 Piece Nested Spinner Suitcase Luggage Set with TSA Lock

The Zimtown 3-Piece Nested Spinner Suitcase Set is a budget hardside luggage trio in ABS plastic with a TSA-approved combination lock and aluminum telescoping handles. The three cases nest inside each other for storage, and the purple interior has three compartments and one pocket. At $79.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. It is a low-cost starter set rather than a durable travel investment.

Questions and answers

Is the Zimtown 3-piece set worth it?
At $79.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to get three hardside cases. Expect it to last a few trips, not many years, so it suits light use.
Is any piece carry-on size?
The listing marks the set as not carry-on size. All three cases are meant for checked baggage, so plan to check them on flights.
What is the TSA lock on this set?
It is a TSA-approved combination strap lock, so screeners can open it without cutting it. It is not a built-in frame lock, so it adds less protection than a hard-shell lock.
What material is the shell?
The shell is ABS plastic, the least expensive hardside material. It resists scratches but flexes and can crack under heavy impact, unlike polycarbonate or aluminum.
Do the cases nest inside each other?
Yes. The three pieces are designed to nest, so the set stores in the space of the largest case when empty.
When is it cheapest?
Only one new price was listed, $79.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, so there is no track record to time a purchase against. Watch for holiday luggage sales.
Where is the Zimtown 3 Piece Nested Spinner Suitcase Luggage Set with TSA Lock cheapest?
