Questions and answers

When does Sonor go on sale?

Sonor kits tend to be discounted around major drum retailer sales and at year-end clearance, when stores clear older AQX and AQ2 finishes. The price history on each product page shows when past drops happened.

Where is the cheapest place to buy a Sonor kit?

It varies by kit and finish. Compare the store list on each product page, since the lowest price often comes from a different retailer for the AQX and AQ2 lines.

What is the difference between Sonor AQX and AQ2?

AQX uses birch shells and is the more affordable line. AQ2 uses maple shells with a warmer, rounder tone and costs more. Both come in Stage, Studio and compact configurations.

Which Sonor kit is best for small venues?

The compact sets: the AQ2 Safari, AQ2 Martini and AQX Jungle use shallow or small shells that fit tight stages and keep volume down. The AQX 22 Stage and AQ2 Stage Maple 5-Piece are the full-size choices.

What is Sonor's return policy?

Returns are handled by the store you buy from, not by Sonor. Check each retailer's return window and whether opened drum shells can be returned before ordering.

Are there Sonor discount codes?

Deal.ai doesn't list Sonor discount codes. It checks what Sonor products actually cost at every store, so a real markdown shows on this page as a deal as soon as it starts, and each product's page has its price history to tell a sale from its usual price.
