The Sonor AQ2 Martini is a compact 4-piece shell pack with all-maple shells: a 14x13 bass drum, 8x7 rack tom, 13x12 floor tom and 12x5 snare. The small diameters give a tight, punchy voice that suits jazz, acoustic gigs and tight stages, and the maple shells keep it warm rather than boxy. The best new price is $929 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, with 4 stores selling it new. That is a mid-range price for an all-maple Sonor kit, so it sits in line with what the AQ2 line usually costs rather than at a clearance low.

Owner discussion of the AQ2 Martini centers on its portability and warm maple tone, with most players treating it as a jazz or small-gig kit. The main complaints are the shallow 14-inch bass drum and the extra cost of stands and cymbals.
