What reviewers say
GXT67 GMRS 5-Watt Walkie Talkie
The GXT67 holds 4.8 out of 5 from 6 ratings, a small sample. Owners of Midland's GMRS line generally praise range and weatherproofing and note that hills and trees cut range sharply.
- Strong transmit power for a handheld
- Waterproof build holds up outdoors
- Repeater support extends coverage
- Range falls short of the advertised 5 miles in rough terrain
- License needed before transmitting
GXT3000 GMRS Walkie Talkie 2-Pack
Reception data is thin: the product carries a single 5-star rating, so there is not yet a reliable body of owner feedback. Midland's GXT line generally earns praise for range and weather channels, with complaints about bulk and optimistic range claims.
- Clear audio and good range for a handheld
