Questions and answers

Which is better for gaming?
The G5 wins on raw speed with its 165Hz panel, and both support G-Sync, FreeSync and VRR. The B6E's 120Hz and 0.1ms response are still strong for consoles and PC. Pick the G5 only if you actually push past 120 frames per second.
Is the G5 worth the extra money?
At 55 inches the G5 costs $2,299.99 versus $799.99 for the B6E as of November 7, 2026. You pay for much higher brightness, 165Hz and a flush wall design. In a dim room the B6E gets most of the OLED benefit for far less.
Which handles a bright room better?
The G5. Its Brightness Booster Max panel is rated up to 45% brighter and is glare and reflection free. The B6E is a standard OLED panel and will look dimmer in a sunlit room.
Do both support Dolby Vision?
Yes. Both list Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The B6E also names HDR10, HLG and FILMMAKER MODE explicitly.
Does either come with a stand?
The B6E includes a stand and measures 30.6 inches tall with it. The G5 ships without a stand and its wall mount does not tilt, so budget for a mount or a separate stand.
Which lasts longer?
Both are OLED, so both carry the same long-term risk of brightness loss from static logos and news tickers. Neither maker publishes a rated panel life, so usage habits matter more than the model.
