Is the 1600 x 900 screen sharp enough?

It is usable for browsing and documents, but on a 17.3-inch panel text and video look less crisp than on a 1920 x 1080 screen. If sharpness matters, look for a full HD 17-inch model.

Can the Core i3-N305 handle everyday work?

Yes for web browsing, email, video and office apps. It is an entry-level 8-core chip, so video editing, gaming and many heavy tabs at once will slow it down.

Is 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD worth it at this price?

At $509.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, the memory and storage are generous for the money. The trade-off is the lower-resolution screen and basic processor.

Does it have a backlit keyboard or touchscreen?

No. The keyboard is not backlit and the display is not a touchscreen.

What ports does it have?

It has three USB-A ports and Wi-Fi 6 wireless. There is no optical disc drive.

Is this a good laptop to carry around?

Not really. A 17.3-inch body is heavy and large; it suits a desk or table more than a daily commute.
